Inner thigh lift

  • Popular Post

Yesterday was my last skin removal procedure… vertical inner thigh lift. I'm pretty swollen, but that's pretty standard after surgery. He removed 2.6lbs of skin & decided to do some lipo (that was an added bonus!) & removed 1600ml of fat. They put me in my compression garment while I was still in the OR, so I have no idea how I look! I get to shower tomorrow, so that'll be my first look at the new me.

Just some history:

5'4"

HW 292.6

SW (VSG) 268

GW 175

CW 148 (pre-thigh lift)

Fleur de lis TT/LBL 2/23/17

Breast lift (no implant) 4/18/17

Inner thigh lift 5/16/17

I'll probably get on the scale tomorrow, and I expect it'll be back in the 150s because of all of the swelling… but it'll come back down soon enough. Can't wait to see where I land!

  • Here's a side by side of pre-op vs 4 days post-op. Can't wait to see how they look once the swelling goes down.

  • Well, I got my official pre-op pictures from my surgeon. The post-op picture is 12 weeks post TT/LBL, 5 weeks post breast lift & 1 week post inner thigh lift. Hard to believe it's the same body!

  • By this time next year it will just be wrinkles then you'll wonder where your balls went! (This whole process definitely requires testicular fortitude!)

Awesome was this covered by insurance?

Sadly, none of my skin removal was covered by insurance… but absolutely worth every penny!

This is the first good thigh lift I have ever seen! I'm really impressed. I had given up hope for myself. Thanks for sharing!

I was pretty shocked by the results, myself!

Awesome! I hope you are feeling good! My surgeon gave me a 90% wound complication with the thigh surgery. I am in desperate need of it though. I'm glad you are doing well with it! I had my pannis approved by insurance and my surgeon said once I get to goal we have a good chance of getting my thighs covered because they are the most significant he has seen.

Your thighs look great by the way!

Wow!!! I can't wait to see too. Idk if I'll do any of the plastics. I'm a big chicken.

I hope it's covered for you. You've worked hard!

Thanks @Joann454!!

What beautiful results! The more I seem to lose the more my thighs have all that wrinkling going on. Before I never wore shorts because my thighs were huge. Now I really am self conscious about wearing shorts because of all my loose skin.

@nurse247 I can't wear shorts because of the extra skin on my thighs...it looks like I have huge testicles on my upper thighs there is such a flap...I wish it were only wrinkly...

Amazing....i would like to do mines now but I still have more to go.

Lol. I did not expect to lose weight so fast. I was so big for so long my skin is just worn out!

I lost about 2lbs a week, which isn't particularly fast. I don't think losing slower would've made any difference. Like you said… my skin was just worn out! Just glad to finally have it gone… I'll take scars over skin any day!

OMG...this literally made me LOL!!
That is good news, cause I swear my thighs look like a have a second vagina :( Not that you can see the first one anyway cause my panni hangs down so far. Really can't wait to get this off of me too. But another 30 to goal!!

Had my follow up today. I spit a stitch where the vertical & groin incisions meet on my left thigh, so there's a small (about the size of a pencil eraser) opening that I need to pack with gauze. Other than that, things seem to be healing well! I'm still pretty sore on the left, so hopefully getting that nasty stitch out will mean it stops hurting soon!!

It sounds like several of us are all experiencing the same thing with the extra groin flap/(testicles as one of you put it) it looks and feel like it but it isn't. My left side is far worse than my right side. In fact my whole body is horrible looking when there is nothing covering it. I told my PS I really ruined my skin over the last 46 years of dieting that I didn't think it was repairable. He assured me it would be, but I would have to have 4 separate surgeries and we will be leaving the legs for last. I can live with them for now but hope someday hope to be wearing shorts.

By the way sjfink your legs look fantastic. Sorry to hear about the opening thought. Hope it heals fast.
