Starting Full Liquids

Good morning all, I just started full liquids this morning. I had some plain yogurt. Felt ok. Got nauseous for a quick second after. I'm confused about the 30/30 rule though. My booklet from the doc says to begin it at this stage. But it's all liquids. Do you need to wait 30 minutes after yogurt to begin sipping fluids? What about soup? Thanks in advance. I've found these forums to be the greatest thing after surgery!

I start full liquid diet tomorrow. I looked through my notes and it doesn't specify during this time. I did notice one thing of interest from the doctors hand out

" if you are experiencing nausea, vomiting and or diarrhea you need to switch to Thorne or nectar protein powder do to developing lactose intolerance "

I would wait 30mins after or before eating yogurt. I didn't the other day and I noticed the difference. It's not solid food, but you can feel the difference. Going to puree food Tuesday.

I called my NUT regarding the same thing and concerned it would stretch my sleeve. She said it would not be necessary during full liquids and could not stretch my pouch either. I do wait 30 min before "eating" full liquids and try to wait 60 mins after to get in the habit. If I feel I need a drink before then, I just take a sip. Beginning puréed foods Wed & can't wait!
