Hello all! I was sleeved on March 15, 2017. The main reason I had surgery was to try to jump start my cycles, hopefully ovulate and possibly get pregnant. So far I've lost 27 lbs in 6 weeks, kind of a slow loss but it's okay. No one said this would be easy.
I have always had non-existent periods. Sometimes even Progesterone wouldn't start my cycle. I've literally went years without a period. I started this weight loss journey at 382 lbs, day of surgery was 346.8 and my current weight is 318.2. Does anyone have an experience with their period regulating after surgery? How much weight did you lose before something happened? Almost 60 lbs down since HW and still nothing for me. I was always told by doctors that if i lost the weight, my cycle would return to normal... how long should it take? Any advice or success stories are appreciated. Thank you for your time!
