  5. I would really love to know her name so that I can follow her channel. I have found several really great channels of fellow sleevers that I watch everyday!
  6. Thank you everyone for your encouraging words! I made this post because for 12 years, my husband and I have struggled with infertility. I was always told by my doctors that our biggest obstacle was my weight. Somehow miraculously if I lost all the excess weight, my problems would resolve. So far none of that has happened. I know that this surgery is not a magic wand and I never expected it to be. I'm putting in hard work to see changes. It's just discouraging to hear my entire life to "just lose weight" and then when I do, it's still not helping. I almost feel like the doctors refused to help me due to my weight, gave me an excuse and sent me on my way without actually looking into the problem. It wasn't until I was 25 that I was diagnosed with PCOS, I'm currently 30, never had a "normal" cycle except when I took birth control pills through my teenage years. Praying that this surgery helps me and the rest of us struggling. I'm a better person now and working to be healthier than before. One day at a time.

  8. We have practically the same story. Would you mind to PM me? Maybe we could be buddies?
  9. Hello all! I was sleeved on March 15, 2017. The main reason I had surgery was to try to jump start my cycles, hopefully ovulate and possibly get pregnant. So far I've lost 27 lbs in 6 weeks, kind of a slow loss but it's okay. No one said this would be easy. I have always had non-existent periods. Sometimes even Progesterone wouldn't start my cycle. I've literally went years without a period. I started this weight loss journey at 382 lbs, day of surgery was 346.8 and my current weight is 318.2. Does anyone have an experience with their period regulating after surgery? How much weight did you lose before something happened? Almost 60 lbs down since HW and still nothing for me. I was always told by doctors that if i lost the weight, my cycle would return to normal... how long should it take? Any advice or success stories are appreciated. Thank you for your time!
  10. I was sleeved on 3/15 with a hiatal hernia repair also. I took gas-x strips and it helped with the gas pressure pain. Hope that helps!
