    If you can take medication, you can take chewable vitamins. So.. I'd say immediately at discharge (i.e. when they clear you for liquids). Just make sure to chew it well.

I started taking my vitamins right away. My dietician also recommend CoQ10 daily to fight fatigue. It seems to be working for me.

Im 4 weeks post op just started them, and b12 I feel much better not to mention this nasty taste in my mouth disappeared, don't know if it's related to taking the Vitamins


I agree that if you can take other meds in pill form then you can do your vitamins.
I plan to stick with the chewable for a while. I am still on a couple of extra prescriptions and I get sick of taking pills. I used to be able to swallow all of my pills at once but I can't do that yet post surgery. I actually enjoy my mixed berry chewables so I'm sticking with them for a while.
