Any post op college students?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone here is post op and is or was a college student during their journey. I'd really appreciate advice with dealing with the surgery while also attending school, and to know of the difficulties I may face. My clearance appointment is Friday, and after that I'll have my surgery scheduled.

Also wondering if I should postpone my surgery until June where I'm out of class instead of possibly having it in may,

Thanks

I had my surgery April 5, while working full-time and being a full-time college student . During this time I emailed my professors and employers to inform them I would miss at least one day of class etc. In order to heal from surgery (I didn't go into details). I also had my surgery towards the end of the week because I have class on Tuesday and Thursday which gave me awhile to heal and rest! Just make sure you have the surgery when you can completely clear your schedule so you're not overwhelmed with studying for finals and what not!

Good luck with the surgery!!!
