I had my surgery April 5, while working full-time and being a full-time college student . During this time I emailed my professors and employers to inform them I would miss at least one day of class etc. In order to heal from surgery (I didn't go into details). I also had my surgery towards the end of the week because I have class on Tuesday and Thursday which gave me awhile to heal and rest! Just make sure you have the surgery when you can completely clear your schedule so you're not overwhelmed with studying for finals and what not! Good luck with the surgery!!!
