  1. For me, I didn't get a date until all the clearances were completed and the 6 month diet was completed. After being completed, everything was submitted to insurance and once approved I got a date.
  2. I'm actually planning to take an online class, but it starts the same day as my surgery, but I think I'll be able to do it! I'll just have to play catch up once I'm feeling better. But that's great that you got through it!
  3. That's awesome!!! I just got my date for June 12. Plenty of time to heal during the summer and be ready to get back into the swing of things
  4. Just got scheduled today for June 12th
  5. That's cool that you work at UD. Thank you for the advice. Hopefully will have surgery scheduled two weeks after finals, so I don't have to do the diet while doing finals lol. Sorry to hear you had complications. How are you in your journey now?
  6. Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone here is post op and is or was a college student during their journey. I'd really appreciate advice with dealing with the surgery while also attending school, and to know of the difficulties I may face. My clearance appointment is Friday, and after that I'll have my surgery scheduled. Also wondering if I should postpone my surgery until June where I'm out of class instead of possibly having it in may, Thanks
  7. Hi I'm a college student, and I started my journey in October. I'm finally at the end of the insurance requirement, by on Friday I have my final appointment to submit everything to insurance. It's really long and during the six months the clearances take a long time. Even after being approved, I will most likely not schedule my surgery until I'm on summer break. So if you start the process now, after you get approval you are good. You can wait until your next break if it takes longer than august, which may be the winter to do your surgery.
  8. Hi Jesse, I'm a sophomore at the university of Delaware. I haven't had surgery yet, but my final clearance appointment is on Friday. Hopefully I'll get my surgery approved and scheduled soon. Do you think I should wait until after finals?
