DS Surgery

Hi Everyone. My first time posting. I'm planning to get the ds switch revision. I wondered with this being the second bypass surgery do they still make you take a psyc eval? And did anyone's insurance clearence seem faster the second time around?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your questions. My guess is the same requirements would apply. Have you checked with your insurance? If you don't mind me asking, how long ago was your first surgery, and what procedure did you have?

I have seen two doctors about this- one did NOT require the reval and my current doctor- which I got approval from did. Yes approval time seemed much quicker. But this has been a very long process....or maybe tiresome is the better word. :)
