I understand what you are going through and I wish you safe and well. I wound up with pulmonary emboli (blood clots in my lungs). This happened about 2 years ago and I'm since off the blood thinners.

Keep your head up and stay positive. I experienced a couple of setbacks too. I started my quest for wls in March of last year. I was recovering from sudden cardiac arrest that I suffered in October 20

So I finally finished all my pre op and got insurance approval and was about to pick a date for the end of April. Then I ended up in the hospital for blood clots in my arm, and learned I have an abnormal issue where my first rib is cutting off blood flow to my arm. I've had three procedures now to remove the blood clots and have one more surgery scheduled to remove my first rib. I'm happy that my condition can be fixed, but frustrated that my wls has to be put on hold for 3 to 4 months while I'm on blood thinners after I finally finished my pre op and mentally was prepared to have my wls this month. Hopefully I can stay on track and keep lossing on my own. I've lost a decent amount just by seeing the nutrionalist and exercising more. But I feel like I won't be able to keep up with these good habits I've developed because of my inability to work out and the long hospital stays I've had.
