  1. I'm in a similar boat, i am 1 year and a few months post op gastric bypass and will be 6 weeks on Wednesday. i got mixed info on what vitamins to take, my nutritionist said to take a prenatal and some extra b and d while my ob said the vitamins i already take are sufficient. Got the all clear from my surgeon to start trying to conceive at my one year follow up because i had lost more than 75% of my excess weight and had stabilized with my weight loss. @Bariatric_girlie Congrats! on your pregnancy best of luck.

  12. I never got a goal weight. Only once did my dr ask me what i would like to get down to. Im still not sure what # i want, but 100lbs ago i thought 185 would be good, and my dr said that was doable. Im 5'3 and my highest was 293, i got down to 270's before surgery and now 6 months out im down to 191. Now that im close to my first goal of 185, im pretty sure im going to make a second goal of 150. Ive never been this small in my entire adult life, so its all new to me. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. I was in group session at my bariatric surgeons office and one of the fellow rny bypassers stated she can feel her remnant stomach...can even burp it. I've never even thought about my other stomach thats floating around still. It kinda blew my mind. So i was wondering if anyone else feels it.
  16. I boringly have a premier protien shake with coffee most every morning. Sometimes on the weekends i make a one egg omelet with morning star fake bacon and cheese. The omelet ends up cold before i can even finsh half...so its not something i do too often. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  19. I really like my nutrionalist, she is very friendly and nice. I do wish she had more info for me as a vegetarian. She gave me tons of packets of info and sample meals, but nothing vegetarian specific. Her main advice on it was that i would be supplementing with shakes and bars for much longer than a meat eater. 21. @little green, i didnt use a specific recipe. I cooked 2 cups of lentils in low sodium vegetable stock, them sauteed up my vegetables in a pan with some oregano, parsley, garlic and thyme. Combined the lentils and veggies and uses whole wheat flour to make it stick together a little better..(no eggs). After that i places in 12 muffin cups, squirted ketchup on top and baked at 450 for about 15-20 mins
  22. Made some lentil loaf tonight for dinner Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. I would prefer it to be discreet. Everyone in my house knows about my surgery, but i dont need the mail lady knowing. I only told my close family and would prefer to keep it that way. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
