Stage 3 soft foods

Hi all :)

Yesterday was my post op apt and my doctor gave me the green light to move to stage 3 foods. I need some advice on what to eat since he did not give me any help on what my daily meals should look like. Also he said I should be eating around 800 calories. Does that seem high for 3 weeks post op?

I would gladly love some advice on what my daily meals should be and calories!

I have lost 16.4 since surgery.

Thanks so much!

Kristin

You may have any of the following, or any soft/mushy food you could eat without teeth:
Soft cooked moist scrambled or minute poached eggs, mashed potatoes, small curd cottage cheese, and yogurt with fruit, soups or chili with soft cooked vegetables. Soft cooked white fish, canned tuna, salmon, chicken, or beef that is mixed with low-cal mayonnaise. Refried beans, soft string cheese, oatmeal, grits, any fresh or canned soft cooked vegetables.

If u get on Pinterest and type in bariatric meals or bariatric soft meal ideas. There are many ideas! That's what I have been using. I am on the soft food diet too.
