You're fine, don't push. Keep going on the 1/2 cup.

Per my nut I'm suppose to eat a cup of food at 9-12 months post op and maintain that for life at your stage I was still eating 1/4 cup and then around 6months I was at 1/2cup which is where I still am

I agree with Jesm. A cup of food is for maintenance. You are doing just fine at 1/2 cup (and from the sounds of it, you might want to do a couple spoonfuls less than that).

I'm just over 3 months post op. I'm supposed to be eating a cup of food at each meal and 2 Snacks per day. I cannot get in the cup of food. More like a half a cup and not a crumb more or I'll puke and then I don't feel well for at least a half hour to 45 minutes after I eat. It's been like this since I started eating regular food. Doesn't matter which food it is, hot or cold, or if I eat it slow or fast. The result is always the same. Will this improve for me eventually?
