3 days post op

So I am 3 days post op! I have come down to one problem that I haven't seen before. And it's dehydration. All I want to do is drink drink and drink more water. I feel so thirsty. But I can only drink so much and it's driving me insane. I can't even drink my protein because I fee that it makes me more thirsty. :(

Are you keeping an accurate track of how much fluid you're getting in?

3 days post-op this could still be from the tubes that were in your throat and/or lingering effects of anesthesia and pain meds. Either way, it's not a bad thing to keep drinking throughout the day like you are. Sip sip sip....walk walk walk!!

Best of luck!
