Any vegetarians/vegans? I feel lost 2 weeks out :(

Hi everyone!

So I'm 12 days out and I feel completely lost. I'm a vegetarian and I feel like I really don't know what to eat to get a lot of Proteins since I'm in the soft foods stage. I'm leaving full liquids slowly and I really feel like I can eat about anything. Nothing makes me hurt or super uncomfortable. eggs and yogourts are passing less easily but cheese is passing just fine along with paneer cheese, brie, cheese spreads etc. I can eat mashed potatoes and canned vegetables without a fuss from my stomach. Is this normal???

When and should I start eating fake meats or TVP? They are so high in Protein yet low-fat, low-carb... When can I start eating mashed Beans, lentils and so on? :( I need my tofu back LOL! Any good soft foods recipes?

Thank you!!! :D Hope to meet more bariatric vegetarians!

I'm almost vegan, I use Dr. Schulze 's (herbdoc.com) protein shake. It doesn't tastes the best, it's mostly made of nuts and other good stuff, Block I mix it with banana and strawberry or blueberry,

Mashed beans, lentils and tofu are all soft foods. Basically, if you can cut it easily with a fork, it is considered a soft food. In fact, other than raw veggies, I can't think of anything vegetarian

Mashed beans, lentils and tofu are all soft foods. Basically, if you can cut it easily with a fork, it is considered a soft food. In fact, other than raw veggies, I can't think of anything vegetarian that wouldn't be considered a soft food. I was actually eating tofu, hummus and refried beans in my pureed stage. However, I'd stay away from the mashed potatoes unless you are adding unflavored protein powder to them. Otherwise they are just empty carbs.

and feel free to continue drinking protein shakes if you need to in order to get your 60-80g of protein in. I drank them regularly for several years.
