Milk of Magnesia always does the job for me!

I agree, Milk of Magnesia is a real good choice and my surgeon said it was safe for me to take. He also said I could take Miralax.

I didn't have my first BM until about 8 days post op and it is not uncommon to go more than 5 days post op without a BM, from what others have said.

Should I be expecting a poop anytime soon ? What products should I buy to give my bowels a little help ?

Miralax is what my Doctor recommended and it didn't cramp my stomach at all just drink plenty water that day
