My Doctor seems to have no concerns. I am going to have the sleeve. However I have concerns. I have never had any surgeries, other than being heavy I have been healthy. So the whole being put under scares me. I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis and sleep apnea and getting the weight off will be a plus, also borderline diabetic so out weighing what the future could hold I am going for the surgery. Through my research I am finding that the over sixty manage just as well as younger people. Living here in Florida I want to enjoy my retirement so looking forward to this new journey. Wish you luck on your disicion.

I have done all the required but I have asked for a cardio work up to make sure I don't have unknown heart issues having that done next week I am thinking June or July hopefully my sugar is way high and want to nip that quick as possible. Have you seen a surgeon yet to go over options?
