March 17, 20179 yr Hi all I'm looking for a buddy, op booked for 1st April I'm excited and scared looking for anyone who is having op around same time so we can help support and encourage each other! Thanks![emoji4] Hey there. I'm having surgery on April 5th. We should keep in touch. I also started a Facebook support and advice page for those of us going thru WlS in the next month. There is a group of good people on there and it is nice to have that kind of encouragement. Please feel free to join if you'd like. https://www.facebook.com/groups/262943937492838/
March 19, 20179 yr Hello I'm scheduled to be revised from sleeve to RNY 4/11. I completely understand feeling happy and scared at the same time.

March 25, 20179 yr @hajoura_sweet omg please tell me all about it!! on a scale of 1-10 how bad was the pain when you woke up? Were you able to get up and walk the same day? Was this your first surgery or a revision? Can't wait to hear back from you.
March 25, 20179 yr Hey sweetie! Really really it's not all that bad and today i went out shopping with my daughter! It's so funny that you ask that! When i woke up from anastasia the first thing the nurse asked me was "on a scale of 1 - 10 how bad is your pain" and i answered 4 .. don't worry about a thing you'll be perfectly fine!I slept alot for the first 2 days i don't even remember them clearly hahahAlso i should tell you something very important.. the first day or 2 you will feel like you've made a massive mistake and you will regret it. But thats the bit of you that tells you to take a second slice of cake and another chocolate now... push through it ok hun! Don't let that side of you trap you.. many people have lost tons of weight and kept it off.In hospital when i wanted to walk i would feel a sharp pain on the lower left side of my stomach that was very unpleasant. Thats due to no bowel movements. But you won't nesaseraly experience that. This was my first surgery [emoji16]I can promise you by day 4 / 5 you won't feel pain or have any discomfort (except maybe using the toilet)Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app
March 25, 20179 yr @hajoura-sweet ok that's very encouraging. What's funny is different things I've read spooked me so much I said I was emailing my surgeon Monday morning requesting to post pone another month. I'm telling you sometimes my mind becomes two shades in the wind off thinking of wayyyyy too much. I am so happy to hear you've done so well. I had VSG 4/14/14 and I remember saying to myself what on earth have you done. That feeling passed within the first week. Please keep in touch and share everything that comes to mind hahahahaha.
