Compression clothes?

I was wondering if anyone has purchased any compression clothes to start their VSG journey? Any opinions on what I should buy or what might help the most?

I'm still going through the approval process, but I think compression garments would be unnecessary and possibly harmful. It's already going to be difficult to get liquids and, later, foods down. Compression garments seem like they would only aggravate that. If someone has experience, please share. My reply is only conjecture.

I love compression leggings for exercise. They help keep chafing down. I do have trouble finding ones that fit... I have to wear mens 2xl.
