Got my date!

Hi everyone! I'm just so excited I have to share this with y'all. I got my surgery date this morning, I will be getting sleeved on April 10th!!

Anyone out there getting sleeved close to that date? I would love to have some surgery buddies.

Congrats!!! I hope I will be also. My paperwork was submitted to insurance today. They said it should be about 2 weeks. Surgeon said he would be able to fit me in at the end of the month if we get it back soon, if not the beginning of April it will be for me also.

How excited are you? Im so excited and anxious waiting on ins. approval. How long did your insurance take to send back the approval?

@SuaniyaI'm really excited now but I'm sure I will get nervous as the date approaches. I feel so relieved to finally have a date like it's all really happening now.

I have Kaiser and they do things a little different. They don't have to send for approval. If I qualify with my BMI and make it into the program and then finish the program, I get the surgery. I feel bad that a lot of people go through the whole process and could possibly get denied by insurance. I can only imagine how frustrating that is.

I'm thinking good thoughts for you and sending positive vibes your way that your insurance approves the surgery :)
