I'm 6 days post-op

It's been a rough 6 days. The first 3 I was so tired, I didn't want to get out of my hospital bed or do anything but sleep. But now I feel much better. I'm able to get in my fluids easy (just need to drink a bit more). Yesterday I got 40 oz of fluids in and today it'll be close to 35 oz. I know that's not a lot but I'm trying my best. My surgeon said that I needed to consume 64oz of fluids a day but there is no way I can do that so soon after surgery. I almost cried when everyone else was enjoying their meals and I couldn't eat a single thing they were cooking. Things will get better, I know it.

I was doing 100 oz 4 days post op with constant sipping. I had a drink in my hand all day and took a sip every 10 seconds or so. It will really help with the tiredness.

I'm now getting anywhere for 20oz to 48oz in a 24 hour period. Thankfully I'm not dehydrated.
