Not sure if this is what I have but it could be. 2008-LapBand and it seems as if once the band slipped the issue started, after talking to countless doctors I gave up and have been dealing with since. November 2016, I received RNY bypass and down 45 lbs. Still experiencing the tongue/mouth issue and what appears to be reflux since 2008. Nothing seems to help, if you ever find a cure/solution/relief pass it onto me, I would appreciate [emoji2]

Check your B Vitamin levels... classic for some types of vitamin deficiencies.

I have been having a burning mouth when I brush my teeth. My dentist is sending me to a specialist. I have rashes in mouth, like it is burnt. I am low on vitamin A. I have had for about one month. I am almost 5 months post op. I have had this before surgery when I ate too much of something.
