Hi all, I had my surgery in May of 2016, so far I have lost 68 lbs. I currently weigh 162 and still loosing. I have gone from a size 18/20 to a 12. I just can't believe how far I have come. I have tons more energy. I did not realize just how bad I felt until I got off all that sugar and got some weight off. The first month is the absolute worst, but if you can get through that you can do it, it gets better I promise. When you start seeing the pounds melt off it will all be worth it. Just remember "this too shall pass." It is very depressing to only eat 4 or 5 bites of food, but you will find yourself eating a little more as time goes on. Just don't forget what got you here to start with.
