Good Morning!!! It's been 7 days and I feel great! No pain, no vomiting just feeling wonderful!!!

How long after surgery, do I have to wait before starting the gym?

That's awesome! My surgeon said I can do the treadmill and maybe the arc trainer. But not zumba or weight lifting for a month. I'm 8 days post op.

I'm allowed to walk as much as am able but no working out or strength training at this point. My follow up with the exercise physiologist is not until March, about 3 months out from surgery. We need to heal properly so no tears or rips happen and to give us time to get our energy back as our calories increase. But every doctor is different and we all need to follow our doctor's orders. Good luck on your journey!
