Allergy meds

Has anyone notices that after surgery they end up with allergies??? I feel that way! I'm 5 months out and I was wondering what do y'all take for allergy meds? I can't stop sneezing and my eyes look horrible! I know I should go to the doctor but if he is just going to give me over the counter meds I don't need to see him...

    I take cetirizine for allergies prescribed by dr for hay fever. I did notice I started getting rashes 6 months after surgery. I took MSM which is good for stomach healing for 4 months and rashes are gone. I don't take it anymore and no rashes.
