Good evening all,

I'm newly banded, as of Friday morning and surprisingly I feel better then I expected, no nauciousness and I can drink most fluid without issue. However, I feel slight tenderness in my stomach in the area of the surgery. It does hurt when I walk extended periods because of swolleness. At times it feels rock hard and other times it passes ... I assume it's also digestive gases trapped.

My question is I assume it's normal to be swollen from the surgery ... How long did it take you folks to get back to "normal"?

I'm two week out almost and I'm still alittle in my stomach. I notice walking helps me. Gass can stay Iin u for like a month or so.

I am 2 weeks out from the VSG, and my stomach is still swollen. There are times when it is not so bad, but almost always still swollen.
