2 weeks post op sleeve

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and I'm down 13lbs. Ive been the same weight for days. Could I be hitting a plateau now? Or is my body just getting used to the lower calories?

  • Yep! I stalled 1 week in! No change for 2 weeks then I dropped 4 lbs over night! Focus on healing, not on loss! Both of my sisters stalled at the same point, but 1 has lost 70 lbs and 1 has lost 1

Johnni,

Im in the same boat.. had surgery on the 4th.. lost about 12 lbs quick but not coming off each day.. just a stall. I will follow your pins and see what you find out.

Sounds like a stall. I had one about 2-3 weeks in. Hang in there! It'll start moving.

Both of my sisters stalled at the same point, but 1 has lost 70 lbs and 1 has lost 150 lbs. I have only been sleeved for a little over 3 weeks, but I'll let you know!! If you are eating what your dr says to eat and drinking Water, then you should be good! Keep the faith!!

keep the faith and you have to remember some of that weight that you lost also came from the part of the stomach he removed from your body and also realize you'll lose more weight once your doctor gives you the OK to workout that's when the weight will began to really drop and remember you'll still fresh so focus on healing right not NOT pounds dropping
