Meds after Sleeve?

Hi, I haven't seen any info on this. I have severe anxiety/fear of flying. I have taken Xanax when flying for probably the last 10 years. Considering I live in Alaska and have to get surgery in another state, I am wondering if I will be able to take the Xanax when flying home, 4 weeks post surgery.

Does anyone know if this is an okay med to take after surgery? I will of course talk to my surgeon about it, but any info I can have before would be helpful. Thanks!

I have a severe anxiety disorder and take Ativan which is the same class of drug as Xanax and my surgeon ordered it for me in the hospital on day 1.
