Hi everyone. I'm 4 days out since surgery. I had a lot of nausea and vomiting after surgery. My Surgeon starting me on the creamy Soups, light smoothie, and pudding. Anyone else doing this so soon after surgery?

I'm 4 days out as well and the first day and a half I was nauseous all day and couldn't keep much down myself. They gave me zofran and phenergan and the phenergan and walking helped me a lot. But I was told to start those yet.

I'm feeling better today, also on the zofran and the nausea patch I can't Remember the name. Had a lot of snow where I live so I'm walking laps around the house lol;)

I had VSG surgery 1/5/17, my Dr found I was not tolerating narcotics , I threw up with the first dose in the operating room and right after, and every time the nurse put it in my IV. I am doing great now, no nausea.

Perfect, I sip flavored Water, Protein shakes all day long, I am so bored. I don't track the oz's because that is where people feel as thought they are failing, I am hydrated and feel well.

I was allowed those things on full liquids which started at day 4 post op

My Dr put a high dose Dramamine patch behind my left ear before surgery. It's produces for 72 hrs! I was never the least bit nauseas! Win for the Dr!
