Frustrating

So I have everything complete for gastric sleeve. EVERYTHING. They told us that we can use a primary or a GYN for a clearance letter. I picked my GYN faxed the surgeons office the clearance letter everything was fine. Now the patient advocate called and said I have to have another clearance letter because the one she has does not say I'm medically cleared for surgery. She said it only states I'm cleared from a GYN standpoint. Well what's the point in telling women we can use a GYN if at the end you're also going to need a clearance letter from your primary doctor?

I've already been approved. This is so frustrating to me. I'm just ready to give up. I don't have a primary care doctor that's why I had to go with my GYN.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. You don't deserve it.

Big_fine, take a breath. This is just a hiccup in the process. You're almost there and you're allowing it to get the best of you. Ask your surgeon for a referral. It will take less than a week for any blood tests to come back. Hang in there! Best to you!
