I think I hit my first stand still on weight. I've lost 10lbs since my surgery on 12/27 & I've been at 240 since.. it's been a few days. Trying not to get discouraged :(

  • Very normal. Search for stall, not losing, etc and you will find hundreds of posts from others going thru the same. If you stick to your plan and meet your goals, the weight will come off.

Completely normal.actually it would be strange if you didn't stall at this point.you wereloaded with normal saline to keep you hydrated in the hospital.your swollen and retaining fluids inside still.i wouldnt weigh until a month post op for those reasons.when your stall breaks you may lose a pound a day for two weeks and stall again or lose three pounds stall a week later lose a couple more pounds.i never lost consistently or lost daily.

I did the same thing (surgery 12/23/16). I was already emotional so it was terrifying. It only lasted a few days. I started walking yesterday to change it up and lost almost a pound in one day. I'm learning to be patient.....there's a LOT between those before and after pictures!
