I had my sleeve done on Dec. 29, 2016 and it is now January 1, 2017. Going through a lot of pain and emotions. I know I made the right decision.

I'm sorry about how you're feeling. You definitely made the right decision. What pain and emotions are you dealing with?

The weight battle in general has always been a struggle. I had lap-band surgery in 2008 and was maintaining until the band malfunctioned 7 months ago. The sleeve has been more painful and I realize how much I miss food. I now weigh 278 ponds and my goal is 180 because I'm 5'11. I have not lost any weight yet, and I am hoping for success. I am willing to put in the work. Weight loss surgery is not a quick fix like so many people think it is, many just don't understand the struggle.

I had my sleeve done on the 28th. I'm right there with you. The mental part of this is so much harder than I thought it would be. Just know someone else out there understands what you are going through. That seems to help me a little bit. Knowing I'm not alone.
