  1. The weight battle in general has always been a struggle. I had lap-band surgery in 2008 and was maintaining until the band malfunctioned 7 months ago. The sleeve has been more painful and I realize how much I miss food. I now weigh 278 ponds and my goal is 180 because I'm 5'11. I have not lost any weight yet, and I am hoping for success. I am willing to put in the work. Weight loss surgery is not a quick fix like so many people think it is, many just don't understand the struggle. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I had my sleeve done on Dec. 29, 2016 and it is now January 1, 2017. Going through a lot of pain and emotions. I know I made the right decision. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
