Emotions

Hello there!

I am awaiting my time to go through with my sleeve. I'm reading A LOT online, and I keep coming across posts saying there's a range of emotions. I am curious as to what everyone else has already dealt with. I will be surrounded by 4 children post op, and I want to make certain I don't lose it on them. How did you feel afterwards??

Everyone is different but I believe it's how you make yourself feel so if you have a great attitude about the surgery your emotions will be great if there is any doubts then you might be emotional.

The only day I got emotional is when I saw a weight loss of 27 pounds in 4 weeks that's when I was emotional and that was excitement emotional.

I wish you the best of luck and remember happy exciting feelings and you will be fine.

I just had the surgery on 12-22 and I have 4 children ages 12, 10, 6 and 3. I think it's very important you have someone (husband, partner, friends, relatives) to help you at home. Otherwise you will be suffering having to do everything yourself and this could cause you to end right back in the hospital. Best of luck to you!
