Blahs

So I'm almost 5 weeks post op. Pain after surgery was intense but short lived. Been fine since. Can eat but today was the first time I really didn't want to. I have been really good about the Protein shakes but couldn't do it today. Felt yucky all day. Just didn't want to eat or drink. Felt like I would get sick so something. Just having a rough day so thought I would share with people who may understand and not look at me with worry every time a headed to the bathroom. FYI I finally ate after Christmas mass. It did make me feel better but I know I didn't get in all my liquids and Proteins. Needed to vent. Now I can shake my self off and get back on track!

Good for you for not beating up on yourself. You're already focused on getting it done tomorrow. I'm only 11 days post surgery, and I've already had a day like you describe. I just couldn't face all that Protein. I decided to give in to it for one day. Luckily liquids aren't a problem for me, and I did get a shake in and all my Water. I told myself this was one day and I got back up the next day and have done well since. I wrote out what I was going to eat the next day, and was sure to start the day with a 30gm shake. This got me back on track. It sounds to me like you are back on track as well.
