Day two post opp

Today is day two of post opp. I had wake up every to walk for 10 mins I was told to try to sip 5 ounces of fluids an hour I don't think could drink that much currently I am afraid I may vomit or get heart burn. I don't feel much pain.

Just try and do what they say, but also make sure they know how you're feeling. This is temporary!

For me, the best way to get my Water in was to just try to drink one ounce every 15 minutes. Trying to do 4-5 ounce an hour might mean trying to fit them all in quickly at the end of the hour instead of really spacing it out and pacing yourself.

Another trick for me to get my water in was to march in place. I had esophageal spasms, burping, and other issues with swallowing in the first couple of weeks, but marching in place while sipping somehow made it a little easier.

I know how you feel, I have been unable to consume all the stuff they put on my sheet. It's crazy how much stuff they want you to take in. SO TIRED OF EATING!!! :(
