I'm at the gym, over all happy with results so far, just lately no motivation. I'm here today which is better than most days lately. How do you get/stay motivated?

I don't do the gym. I do martial arts. Since it's a class four days a week, I have to be there. Other people ask about me when I'm gone. The studio had its own Facebook group where everyone discusses classes.

The point is, I wouldn't go to a gym either. I hate them. So find something that is fun and that will make you accountable.

I do karate as well. It was 2x a week now it's just 1 til holidays are past. Happy to say I am an orange belt already, working towards green. Before surgery when I started in January I was at the gym at least 3 days a week most of the time 4. Even with adding karate in May. I just seem so worn down lately. Not tired or sleepy just worn out. I did get 30 minutes on the treadmill in so that's something.

That's really awesome and a great solution! I'm getting into rock climbing but I really do need a group of people who to hold me accountable.

I agree that going to be gym can be a challenge. Especially if you're like me and you used the gym to punish yourself with exercise in the past.

Martial arts, a dance troupe, a group of rock climbers, hikers, bikers. I think friends and accountability are the way to go.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
