Premier Protein question

I finally ordered Premier Protein from Amazon -- it's been impossible to find at the local WalMart. For those of you who are Premier fans, do you use it in coffee or coffee-based drinks? (Like a caramel latte, for example, with the caramel flavor.) Looking for suggestions, thanks in advance.

New favorite thing: very cold vanilla Premier, a half of a frozen banana, two ice cubes and a tablespoon of powdered Peanut Butter. Blend. Delicious.

That sounds rough. Can you sip warm broth? Are you tracking how much you can get in?

If you find it's minimal, I'd say give the doc a call.

wow 5 weeks is pretty early. I'm just at 3 months and only now starting to skip the shake. I went down to 1/2 shake per day from one per day and now I use my shake as I would milk (like a condiment). so if i do overnight oats, i use a vanilla premier instead of milk to add Protein content.

@@emardee, I love the vanilla just as they are. :) I like the idea of having it with coffee. I may try that as well.

I buy the vanilla ones at Sam's club, I mix it with instant Folger's coffee and a tiny bit of Torani sf hazelnut syrup and have it with ice. It helps me survive life :P

I used vanilla in my coffee at the beginning, but now I have enough room in my stomach to use milk and Splenda, while still having a shake and getting my protein in.

Where do you get Torani sugar free syrup? I wonder how much that costs in my area. I have to be careful with coffee. It gives me cysts in my breasts. :(

I just filled out the online form at https://insurenutrition.com

I hope cigna covers it. I requested caramel since I can vanilla or chocolate at the store. Does anyone know how it taste compare to powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury? I don't like chocolate but the unjury chocolate tastes great!

i find the caramel very sweet and butterscotchy tasting. For me, this is one I made pudding with, instead of drinking straight generally, as it is my least favorite of the four I have.

I found it in walmart the other day and tried it. I love it. I think it taste so good.

The caramel isn't caramel at all -- it's butterscotch. I can't bear to drink it. Maybe I'll make pudding with it.

  • 1 month later...

I got caramel at Walmart yesterday, where it was under $7 for a 4-pack. Discovered that it makes for a great creamer.

I use it in my hazel nut coffee all the time. It's really good!
