Tomorrow, I will be 7 weeks post op (October 18)!!! This has been an amazing journey to date. I have committed to making this work and have lost over 20% of my excess body weight!!! PreOp 465lbs, now 405lbs.
rough 45min stretch post-op the first night home, needed pain meds but only took twice once home. Slept in my recliner the rest of the night, felt much better than flat bed.

Advice to others....
- Go to Support Group before/after surgery and get comfortable
- Find a person to share progress.
- Go to the grocery store and read labels.
- Walk, Walk, Walk - Advance to cardio machines if you have access
- Water, Water, Water
- Protein ( I started Protein shakes 2 months before just to get use to them)
- Be Patient (Trust the process)
- Vitamins and supplements
- Plan ahead (this was my weaknesses prior to surgery and one day after - I learned quick)
- Challenge your tastebuds to try new healthy foods!!!!
