2 week liquid diet, then 24 hours prior to surgery only clear liquid. That was it. No surprises in your stomach when they cut

No, I was not told that. I begin my liquid diet b4 surgery on Jan 16th. My surgery is on Jan 30th.

No, thank goodness, my surgeon doesn't touch the intestines during gastric sleeve surgery so there was no need for a bowel prep.

I'm seriously so nervous for the bowel prep! My pre op diet is 28 days also 14 days of low carb/no carb and 14days liquid I've been doing two Protein shakes a day and some broth for the last 16 days

Wow, I had 10 days pre-op clear liquid, it did the trick liver shrunk as planned. No bowel prep ad was advanced to full liquids 6 days post-op. Tolerated well..
