Water tolerance

Had my GS on 11/11/16 and everything is going well except for when I drink Water, the pain is excruciating for a few seconds and then it's like nothing happened. Has anyone else gone thru something similar or has any suggestions? Thanks and congrats to all for bettering our health!

I'm 12 weeks out and I can't drink plain water without what you are describing. I can do Propel or Powerade Zero mixed 50/50 with water without issues.

You are drinking too much! I had that too. I'm 3 weeks post sleeve. Start with sips so small they barley wet your mouth and drink every 15 min. Slowly increase the amount you put in your mouth at once. I found if I put a mouth full of Water and try to take small drinks in, I take in more air . That doesn't feel good. :-S
