Almost 3 weeks post op sudden pain.

About two hours ago I started feeling a dull throbbing pain below my big incision. I'm not sure if something is wrong or if it's just soreness from trying clean my apartment. Does this warrant a hospital visit, or should I just wait until I can make an appointment with my PCP since my surgeon is 200 miles away?

Can't you call your surgeon? I'm sure someone is on-call and can answer a question if you are really concerned.

I'm searching through my stuff for the on call number, but only finding the office staff info. I'll keep looking.

They said it's nothing to worry about, that it's totally normal, but goddamn it hurts.

We all were doing too much..just because we feel better outside we forget its still healing inside..I ran errands and wore myself out ..came home took some liquids, shower n propped my feet up and felt better instantly....I think that pain was a wake up to gradually get back to yourself but gradually????..hope you feel bweter soon..
