How long does the pain last?

I'm assuming you're talking about the gas pain? Mine lasted up into my shoulders for about a week. Walking helps move it and I used a heating pad around my shoulder. Just make sure to get your liquids at this time and rest....walk when you can. Hoping you feel better soon.

Im on day 3 as well and the gas hurts. Ive been walking. Cant wait to feel better. One day at a time. I will definitely try the heating pad. Thanks for sharng

Nothing strenuous but walking helps with gas pain.

I was on dilaudid in recovery room and switched to norco in my room. Discharged after 23 hours on norco until day 4 post op, then switched to Tylenol. By day 7, no pain.

I'm on my third day out. The things that have helped are walking, Gas-X strips, sleeping in a recliner and never laying down, and a heating pad. The heating pad is the beat and fastest relief when it hits!
