I was kinda bummed when I was allowed soft foods and then realized I wasn't getting enough protein. I have to supplement my daily intake with at least one protein shake. I drink mine in the morning to get it over with!

How about soft, flaky fish and cottage cheese? Can you eat these? You can add the unflavored Protein to all your Water and this will help get it in.

I made a menu of two 2-3 oz meals (3 parts Protein one part carbs) they come to about 12 gr protein each unless it's something I can add unflavored protein too... So I still need three shakes or protein fortified cottage cheese or yogurt

.

The unflavored Protein powder is going to be in my food plan for a very long time.

I just saw my doc for my two week post op. He told me forget food. Concentrate on three Protein shakes a day. Food is just a bonus, but shakes before real food. Sad, but I get why
