Slow going

Hello Everyone.. I am 8 weeks out of RNY bypass and I've only lost 27 post op does that sound about right? I feel like it's not happening fast enough

that's about how much I lost in the first two months, and I've lost 214 lbs. Don't worry - just stick to your plan. People lose at all different rates. You'll lose the weight if you're diligent about sticking to your plan.

27lbs is fantastic!

When is the last time you lost that much weight in that short of a time? You have to remember that you did not gain all that weight in 8 weeks you certainly wont take it off that fast either.

Be patient.....Slow and steady wins the race.....

I lost 28 pounds my first two months. It's totally normal. People who lose astonishing amounts of weight to begin with are normally very high BMI.
