Got my surgery date today!

I'm so excited! FINALLY got my date! 11/30!

Has anyone had a 1 day pre-op diet? I've heard my program only requires a pre-op diet the day before surgery and not 1 or 2 weeks but I'm not sure - I'll find out at pre-op class. Is that a thing or does that sound too good to be true?

TIA!

From what i gather the pre op diet is to prep liver 4 surgery. Its to shrink liver just a tad so that it doesnt get disturbed as stomach is pulled out. I was on 5 week pre op diet. I learned alot about my addiction during this time. Best of luck to ya!!!!
