I'm curious about how many days recovery before returning to work?

Everyone and every doctor is different.

I had surgery on a Tuesday, home on Wednesday.

Saw the doctor for a follow up on the next Wednesday and back to work the next day. So i missed a total of 7 days of work and felt fine going back.

I also had surgery on a Wednesday, I wanted to go back to work that following Monday but my Dr. wouldn't release me until I had seen him for my follow up which was scheduled that Wednesday. I went back the very next day.

I was banded last Wednesday and I will be going back to work on Monday. I do have a desk job. My surgery was not in my hometown so I traveled by plane for 3.5 hours yesterday and I was fine. The day I was most sore was the day after the surgery. Everyday has gotten a bit better since.
