Pain and bloating. Is it normal?

Hi, I am 5 days post op, with a lot of bloating and pain. My pain medicines only last 2 hrs and even though I walk a lot i still feel pain on my right lower side by my belly buttom. Plus i cant drink the 60 oz Protein. Many times i regret of have doing this surgery but at the same time I start thinking that this all must be temporary and at the end it will be worth it. What do you guys think?

I'm 6 days post-op. I think walking and moving is most helpful. Try a heating pad as well. Concentrate on fluids so you don't become dehydrated. See about adding Tylenol to your meds. Stay strong!

Try a compression shirt or abdominal binder. I've been lucky to have very little pain or discomfort as most seem to have. I was sleeping on my side the night of surgery.
