Second surgery 4 weeks later

So I had my sleeve surgery 9/15. All things considered, all good. No eating slip ups, am down 40lbs. I can get all my liquid in but struggle with Protein and calories.

So come to find out 2 days ago I have to go into urgent surgery - I've had a lot of blood loss and just barely hung in without having to get a transfusion.

I'm exhausted, back to only being able to take meds with applesauce, and not sure what to eat to get my strength back. Obviously I wasn't fully healed before the 2nd surgery.

My surgeon knows about everything but hasn't helped much. Any suggestions on what to eat to get some strength back? I'm on stage 4, so no restrictions to worry about. I do think the 2nd surgery caused swelling again in my tummy area. Getting a boiled egg down this am was hard.

Any help/advice much appreciated. I'm very nauseous from yesterday's anesthesia. TIA

No, no complications. This was to my OBGYN. I'd been bleeding a full month (since 2 days post op) and was not only in severe pain, but losing blood too fast. Doctor's don't know if it's related.

Hi there. If you go and see your gp there is some shakes that are full of everything you need to make you feel better. Even if you add things to it like nuts berries to bulk up but should fill you up with the right stuff

Oh interesting. I'll look them up and give him a call. I'm doing vanilla premier with 1/2 cup of frozen fruit right now but these sound different. Thank you!
