Surgery Date 11/14

Hi guys !

I am so nervous and excited about how my life will change in the next few weeks . This is a great place to not feel like you are talking about the surgery too much :)

I haven't seen where anyone has the surgery outpatient which is what my doctor has planned . I don't get to leave until I walk and pee but pretty much I go home the same day . I also don't have have to do a 2 week pre-op liquid diet , instead he has me doing a 2 week high Protein diet and 2 day liquid diet. Has anyone else had this experience ?

I'm in a Facebook group with about 200 recently sleeved people and a good amount of them were outpatients. I stayed 2 nights but I know a ton of people who had surgery in the morning and were home by late afternoon. Wouldn't have worked for me, I had some bleeding complications (nothing serious, I was fine but needed to be monitored).
